I didn’t want you to live in vassalage
No luminary, love was all of slaves
I didn’t need to listen to the embassage
Speaking the boring words, just the brick paves
With poetic serendipity of mine,
The wonderful Spring seems bare and shows it
But I hoped the poem of ev’ry line
Would be the ocean, sang and loved a bit
Till the mellifluous star like moving
From your graceful shape with fairy aspect
Made me love on the mountain of loving
And we caught the wind with a sweet respect
Not novaturient, and how I could love you
Till then you would be my nicest queen, too.
